Delete your account

Applies to the Pochi app on iOS and Android

You can delete your Pochi account and everything in it at any time. You don't need to ask us and you don't need a reason.

Delete it from the app

This is the fastest way and it takes effect immediately.

  1. Open Pochi and go to the Profile tab.
  2. Tap Account.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

There is no undo and no grace period. Your Pochi, your history and your streak are gone the moment you confirm.

What gets deleted

Everything tied to your account is removed from our servers:

  • Your account and sign-in details
  • Your food, workout, water, sleep and weight logs
  • Your Health Score history and daily activity history
  • Your Pochi, its cosmetics, your coins and your room
  • Your friendships and any pending friend requests
  • Your entitlements, including any redeemed gift codes
  • Any photos you attached to bug reports
  • Your push notification tokens

The data stored on your phone is cleared at the same time.

What is kept, and why

Bug reports you filed stay in the tracker so other people can still see and vote on the issue, but they are unlinked from you and attributed to "someone". They no longer point at your account.

We may also keep records we are legally required to keep, such as tax records of a purchase. These are retained only for as long as the law requires and are not used for anything else.

If you can't get into the app

If you've lost access to your account or already removed the app, email pochi.app@hotmail.com from the email address on the account, with the subject Account deletion request.

We'll confirm the request is genuinely from you, delete the account, and email you when it's done. Allow up to 30 days, though in practice it is usually much faster.

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so cancel yours in the App Store or Play Store first — see billing and refunds. Otherwise it keeps renewing after your account is gone.
